Flashback Interview: HHU Interviews Kid Cudi (11/06/08)

This is a must listen for some of you new Cudi fans and the doubters still out there. Hip Hop Update interviewed Cudi in June 2008. This was before the A Kid Name Cudi mixtape dropped in July and really at this point he was still an unknown to most people. Today, everyone knows him and his song Day ‘n’ Nite. Things can greatly change in a years time, one thing that didnt is Kid Cudi himself. The things he says and how he believes in himself is the same dude you all know today.

    I think it’s interesting for fans to take a listen to the interview that probably a lot of people missed and/or disregarded.

    Why? Not because he wasn’t just as dope..but MOST fans probably had no idea who Cudi was prior to “A Kid Named Cudi”
