Ha, I couldn’t help myself with the title…moving on. After working on this for weeks, I finally finished it. I first gave you guys a glimpse into the site design via the new twitter background and then with the launch of CudiUniverse.com. What you’re looking at now is the completed re-design of DatNewCudi.com. Keep reading for the full scoop on whats new and some new wallpapers to go a long with it.
First of all, a big thank you goes out to everyone who visits. We’re about to hit 1 million page views so far this year, probably sometime next week! I’ve got a big summer planned for the site including contests, exclusives and much more so keep checking back daily.

Some of you who are not on twitter are asking what the hell is CudiUniverse.com. I’ll try and give you a simple and brief explanation. Its an extension, not a new site for those of you who have asked on twitter. I created the hub site so that you die hard fans could make it your homepage. That way when you start up the computer every day you can see exactly what Kid Cudi is up too on his blog and twitter and at the same time what I’m up to with the site. It also will feature official accounts by Cudi and me. So anyone claiming to be Kid Cudi on YouTube is lying, as you can see it’s not listed as one of his official accounts. Make sure to check it out: CudiUniverse.com.

The new site was designed to the theme of a “Kid Cudi Universe”. You’ll find Constellation Cudi on your left side, along with the moon man and a few other little things in the design (including a moon man on drums). It’s my intergalactic view of this crazy universe and it takes the site away from the 2 year old Day ‘n’ Nite cover look (which I think is dope but its time to change).

Some of the new features and improvements you will see are:

• Share button – right hand side of each post so you can facebook/digg till you can’t stop
• Tweet Board – on the left side of your screen, for discussion with your twitter account. its sick!
• Comments, Posts, Categories Tab – dynamic tab that changes to the subject of choice
• Optimized site – things will load faster and run smoother
• White Background – its a lot easier on the eyes
• Less Ads – Google ads can suck it!
• and many small design improvements.
