Kid Cudi – Man on the Moon: Production Credits
I had the opportunity to hear the album last week while I was in NYC and it exceed my expectations. There’s been a lot of questions asked about production, such as how much did Kanye produce to questions about Ryan Leslie and Swizz Beats having produced music. With the album 20 days away from release, I think its time all that got sorted.

You’ll see that Kanye came out of the album with only 2 tracks, Sky Might Fall (co-produced by Cudi) and Make Her Say. Emile (4 songs) and Plain Pat (2 songs), who have worked closely with Cudi since releasing “A Kid Named Cudi” last year each contributed to the album as well. Rounding out the production is RATATAT (2), Free School (2), Matt Friedman of ILLFONICS (1), Crada for Motion Music (1) and Dot Da Genius (1). Also credited is Jeff Bhasker who worked closely with Kanye on 808’s last year.
Nine different producers contributed to this album and the production was on point, cohesive and flowed 1-15.

I loove Kanye! Dude is a genius! but…
Im kinda sad/happy Kanye didn’t get the majority of beats for the album. For Cudder is experimental and unique. I didn’t think Kanye could live up to that type of caliber of talent. So Im glad he had some up-and-comers instead…this way i wont know what to expect when i hear the album, its gonna be great! :0
…Man the most Im excited about from the production side of things is emile…Im pretty sure he’s been hidin some bangers in his catalog since “A Kid Named Cudi”…cant fuggin wait…SEPTEMBER 15th is the day i will be missing out on school haha I PROCLAIM [NATION SKIP SCHOOL DAY FOR CUDDER's ALBUM] lol lets all unite!;)
