(Video) Cudi Talks Touring & Performs Alive as Max

Speaking to MTV at the Ulalume Festival, Cudi talks about the stage step and touring with Gaga. If you’ve seen his set up so far its fairly similar to what he did during the Hangover tour with Asher Roth. He also mentions he almost didn’t join the tour:

“It was a couple of weeks ago, actually. I got the call, and at first I just had to see if it was going to fit,” he said. “I wanted to take a lot of time off for my family, just kind of hang with them. It worked out in a timely fashion, I’ll still be able to put in the family time after the tour, I got a lot of time off after that. So it’s good thing, and it will make more people aware of my album. I know I’ll get a lot of new fans just off touring with her.”

It seems like many of you thought the photo of Cudi as Max was funny so after the jump you can watch the video to accompany it as he performs Alive in Toronto as well as Memories and Day ‘n’ Nite.

    I’m seeing him tonight!! Do you know if he meets with fans before the concert? I’m going up there extra early to see if I can catch him getting off a bus or something. A picture with him would be fuggin awesome.. or a autograph :)
