(Video) Kid Cudi Live In Vancouver – Full Set

With Cudi in my hometown you had to expect a good amount of footage and coverage from the shows. If you’ve yet to take a look, check out the 60+ photos from his solo show and the accappella preview he did of two new songs from his upcoming album “Cudder”. After the jump you will find video from his entire set, broken down into Part 1 (10 minutes) and Part 2 (20 minutes) including the Mucho Mega mix of performing 3 straight songs (Cudi Zone, Memories, Day ‘n’ Nite).

The videos aren’t true HD, but with the amount of video I filmed this was the best and easiest way to get the footage up.

    ^It’s true, I was at the show also and I posted it up in the comments but it got edited.
    Anyways, pretty much all the stories from the tabloid sites are wrong.

    Someone else threw the wallet first and thats when it hit Cudi, but he was cool about it. And tried to figure out whos it was to give back. Then that’s what you see in the vid on youtube. The guy Cudi threw the wallet back to, tossed it back on stage and I guess thats what pissed Cudi off so he went in there.

    Someone also went on stage during Day N Nite, but he was cool about it also. Guess he was just a little on edge.

    But yea, awesome vids DP. It was an crazy show, had a real good time.

    UPDATE: The fan that got attacked commented on this video explaining what happened. Here is what he said:
    “so here the story. some guy throws their wallet AT kudi… (his wallet, i don’t know why) being in the front, everyone reached out when he was like, “oh, who wants this?” of course everyone in the front is going to be “yeah its mine.” so i caught it and when he was walking away, i believe he jokingly said “if thats not yours, i’ma come get you”. a couple seconds later i felt bad so i tossed it on stage(clearly not throwing it at him but just tossing it).”

    you know DP can’t comment on this, he was probably told not to post anything on the site, it will have a huge affect on cudi’s career probably, luckily it was a fan, and anyone know if he can press charges? i doubt it though, CUDI IS THE SHIT he can beat my ass i’d still be his #1 fan haha

    Thx to everybody for explanations. I’d rather a fansite or his blogsite actually address this since apparently all the blogs are wrong and they ARE addressing it. Either way, it was bad planning. I just hope this doesn’t affect his upcoming performances or I will be pissed.

    @Alarie, yea I agree it should be addressed as the blog sites etc are mostly reporting it wrong and its giving Kid Cudi and Vancouver a bad name.

    Because it really wasn’t a huge deal at the time it happened I was talking to some people outside after the show and they didn’t even know it happened. So its kind of getting blown out of proportion here.

    And the fact is it was an awesome show and everyone had a good time. But I’m sure it’ll all be ok, no publicity is bad publicity right? Its all over youtube and people will search up his songs, so ironically Cudi will probably get more fans out of this.

    I think the punching incident has been blown way out of proportion…it looked like he just misunderstood that the guy was just tossing it back and he thought the same person that tossed it the first time was being an asshole and doing it again so he went to check him…and there is a picture of the “victim” on tmz and he has like a minute scratch with a little redness around it..not that serious

    Guys, we should wait until all the information leaks before judging based off of a video with no audio (from what I know… unless there’s a version with audio?) but yeah, Cudi has said himself on several instances; he’s NOT a violent guy so it had to be extremely messed up for him to respond to it. Just saying.

    The second video definitely made this better. It has audio and you can see that Cudi really didn’t want violence.. He throws it back to the kid just to have it thrown back at him within the first 5 seconds. It was a douche move on whoever threw it back at him after it had already hit him once. The punch is really thrown out of proportion because from what I’ve seen in the video it just looks like he was shoving him. Cudi’s just a real dude who is gonna get angry at people just like everyone else. He just happened to have all the light on him.

    On top of the wallet thing being annoying, its disrespectful on 2 levels. 1 being that it fucked up his song and messed the set up. And 2, if you listen tot he audio, cudi says “i got money”. So cudi took it as if the dude was implying he was broke or something. Thats probably why cudi punched him. Not defending cudis punch, but i would of thrown something at that fools face
