Kid Cudi Step’s off Lady Gaga Monster Ball Tour

Official statement from Kid Cudi:
Kid Cudi has decided to take an early leave of absence from Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball tour, in order to balance his schedule surrounding the recording of his next album and acting commitments.  Cudi does not want to disappoint his fans and will move forward with his individual show dates in December and throughout the month of January. –DREAM ON

If I had to assume, I would think that Kid Cudi didn’t want to disappoint his fans, but as I said before, we don’t know all the details. As DP said, things happen and it’s not the end of the world. Refund/ sell your ticket, try to see him at a solo show, or try to see him at a later date. Kid Cudi was being stretched too thin anyway and now he can focus on his loyal fans and focus on coming out with even hotter tracks for his upcoming album and I mean, don’t we all want that? Always remember: everything happens for a reason. Happy Holidays. :)

You’re the reason that the cage around mainstream hip-hop has been broken, and that the sky really is the limit. I think that you’ve done more than any other hip hop star has in history, and combining different elements of music is way way that we create and expand. nobody wants to be chained up.

    To all the ppl that are getting worked up, it may have been out of his control. A lot of ppl are saying he was kicked off the tour due to what happened in Vancouver. But I guess we’ll never know.

    So give Cudi a break and like I said before the incident has been blown out of proportion. I was at the show and it really wasn’t a huge deal alot of ppl didn’t even know it happened.
