DatNewCudi.com iPhone app – Would you buy it?

I’ve got a handful of things planned for the site in the coming months (one is kidcudi.tv – details on that are coming soon) and the other is an iPhone/iPod Touch app dedicated to the site.  So hit the jump, answer a few question and leave some feedback.

I have no intention of making a cheap garbage app to sell on the iTunes store. If this goes ahead, it will be feature rich and as useful as possible. If you have any ideas or suggestions please leave some comments.

    I wouldn’t buy the iPhone app, but I have a gift card with 99cents to spare, i’d use that to buy it, but i believe the app should be free

    @Tien, fair point. I’d like it to be free but it looks like its going to cost me a pretty penny to have finished so I’d like to make that money back.

    Otherwise the app would suck if I try to get by on spending as little as possible on it.

    quizzes every week would be tight.. thats a good idea for the die hard cudder fans. plus the regular news feed, etc.

    I was considering asking you to make a mobile version of DNC but an ipod/phone app would be practically the same thing.

    Deff news feeds, photos and videos from shows concerts etc.

    just make sure it offers something special that you cant get by just going onto the site from your iphone, therefore making it worth the 99 cents. something fun such as games or weekly quiz or random questions. id download it either way tho, whats a dollar to support this hard working site that hooks it up everyday.

    just throw on his newest music, concert listings, maybe some videos of him, and kid cudi apparel and where to buy it. i would buy an app with that for sure, and i know my friends would too.

    I would definitely buy the app. I am constantly checking this site like 6 or 7 times a day for new posts so it would be helpful if updates just came up on your ipod. This would save a lot more time and effort.

    I think it is an good, idea. I would suggest reaching out to other kid cudi fans on his facebook page and myspace and any other site, to see if you could make some money off selling the app. I have an ipod touch, so i would def buy the app, this site, and the forum is how i really keep with cudi. i think it would be cool if the app, have information, like any recently information on cudi, appearances, concerts etc. media latest songs and material from him, an chat where cudi fans can interact with each other lol

    idk how u would manage to get all that in an app, but it would be cool!

    Honestly fuck all these haters. Not everyone has a droid or a blackberry. The iphone app sounds like a great idea. I know tons of people who would buy it and i’m almost positive your gunna get the money back

    Yo get a real phone…the iPhone! the app would be sick id buy it the day it comes out. i check this site all the time and having it on my phone would just be one less thing i would have to check on my comp. Include push notifications when you update the site!

    it’d be tight if you were able to make a section that linked to cudi’s blog. and under the audio stuff it should link you to itunes to purchase his songs, if you wanted. a “cudi’s closet” feature would be cool, with links to where you can find them.
