Hip Hop 2020: The Kid Cudi Lesson

Kid Cudi was at Morehouse College earlier this week to speak to a class of students who take “Hip Hop 2020″. ‘What is Hip Hop Studies 2010′ explores artists music & lyrics and this year they explored the music of Kid Cudi in a lesson called “The Kid Cudi Lesson”. Dr. Wilson who teaches the course, said she chose Cudi because she believes he is a ‘renaissance rapper’. Video spotted at RollingOut.com.

    wtf?! my college campus is connected to morehouse…and he did a concert at emory (another college in my city) yesterday…i feel like im missing out on everything even tho its all happening right down the street from me!

    Mike.. just grow your hair out a little bit and ask your barber to give you a taper on the sides and back.. temper taper

    Ewade91 same thing here! But luckily, one of my friends saw a tweet so we ended up getting there just in time. lol I’m at CAU and knew nothing about it til the day of. It was cool though, I enjoyed it and cant wait for the next time he comes back.

    It wasn’t promoted; just a tweet hours before, because we didn’t want it to be an unfriendly huge mob of non-Morehouse students, whenever he was on campus. It worked. Sale Hall was packed to capacity.
