Kanye Says Kid Cudi is His Favorite Artist

GQ UK was in attendace for Kanye’s screening of his upcoming short film “Runaway”, where Kanye ended up holding a two and half hour Q&A session. GQ took the information and turned it into a feature called “100 things Kanye taught GQ”. For #49 Kanye explains why Cudi is his favorite artist:

Asked about his own musical taste, Kanye responded, “Kid Cudi is my favourite artist. If I could make music like someone, I’d like to make music like him. I like that emotion, really heartfelt.” Kanye has been working on Cudi’s album which should be released in early November. Kanye sees his role as label boss as being more of a “friend” and “inspiration”.
