Kid Cudi Scraps “A Man Named Scott” Mixtape

The news you guys didn’t want to hear. Cudi just posted on his tumblr page that the previously announced mixtape “A Man Named Scott” has been scrapped. I’ll let Cudi explain:

A Man Named Scott is scrapped everyone, I know its a bummer but ive just been too busy with this new album and thats where all my energy and focus is right now. I gotta work on what moves me creatively. After this im going straight to work on MOTM3 so dont trip. You’ll definately have the WIZARD album this year so no worries. Trust im working extra hard to make this shit as amazing as possible and get yall some new jams. Again, sorry for the late notice. I know youll understand, I hope you understand ha : ) Cud

    You know what? I was lookin forward to “A Man Named Scott” but thats fine with me. I mean he needs to work on quitting his addiction of weed by playin the guitar. I mean its like he said or the CD said on the back of MOTM II he’s trying to become numb of all problems and worries and now that he has a daughter Vada. I don’t think he wants to be smokin. And I bet he’ll have WZRD on his bday (January 30th), next year MOTM III by fall 2012 and at least one mixtape…in other words…that could be A Man Named Scott.
