Kid Cudi Heads to Australia for Heatwave 2012 Festival

The Cud Life Tour wrapped up mid last year after making its way through various US and Canadian cities but it never made its way out of North America. Australia is about to get its chance to rage with Cudi and experience the Cud Life Tour as he makes his way through various cities in January for the Heatwave Festival.

Kid Cudi will be joining hip hop artist like Tech N9ne, Chamillionaire and more as they hit various cities in Australia like Sydney, Perth, Brisbane and Melbourne. The tour will take place from January 12 – 22nd so make sure to check the official festival website for details and ticket info.

    I would have preferred Cudi to tour in Sydney as a headline act rather than being part of a line-up of a festival I’ve never heard of.

    The reason I mentioned the Cud Life tour is because that was the first time he was touring with a live band and in this case he would do the same in Australia meaning you would “experience” it yourself even if Chip isn’t coming.

    It was mostly an oversight on my part. I was away during the holiday break and missed this until I got back and felt it was late and poorly timed to go up now. I think people saw the message and video so I left it be as is.

    I hope cudi reads this to know how i really feel about this kid. At the age of 24 cudi has done things that seem impossible to me. this kid has been the biggest influence on me. i was diognosed with skin cancer this past year and he was one of my favorite rappers but since then he has been more like a mentor. he has saved my life, my friends and touched thousands of other peoples lives. he is the only rapper who cares more about his fans then money or fame. that is what has inspired me most, and because of that i think he deserves to be recognized by the world. but he doesn’t want the recognition because he doesn’t want the crazy fame and publicity that comes with that life. i give him mad props and he is the man. i hope cudi gets what he deserves and i will be repping cudi for the rest of my life because his mojo is so dope and i just happen to be trapped in my mind. keep it real cudi. you the man
