In an interview with Rap-Up, Jim Jonsin talks about working with Kid Cudi on his forth coming album “Man on the Moon: The Legend of Mr. Rager”. Jonsin describes the rock influenced track him and Cudi worked on as well as a Kanye x Cudi collab for the album. Interesting of note is his description of what the album sounds like:
It’s a mix. It’s kind of some club stuff, some hip-hop traditional rap stuff, and then some rock-pop stuff. He’s goin’ everywhere
Sounds more like a description of the previous direction of Cudder then the new direction of MOTM.

In a short interview with MTV, Snoop tells them that the upcoming video for That Tree will be a “Romper Room”-like video based on the old popular kids TV show.
“It’s kind of hard to explain,” Snoop told MTV News about the concept. “It’s like ‘Romper Room.’ It’s kiddish. It’s really fun. Me and him like to have fun, so we wanted the video to depict that. It’s not a real serious video. There’s no champagne room. There’s no money being thrown or a bunch of girls. It’s just me and him having a good time.”
The Jason Goldwatch directed video is set to premiere early April according to Snoop’s Label. Keep reading for another photo from the set along with a MTV interview with Diplo, who produced “That Tree”. Read the rest of this entry »
