Last night Converse brought Kid Cudi, Best Coast and Rostam Batmangli of Vampire Weekend together for a show at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. This has been out for a few months now but I originally missed it when it was posted. Cudi’s previously talked about flying to Hawaii to record with Kanye for Blueprint 3 but this time around he discusses it with more detail. He talks about working at BAPE, touring in Australia and how all the good things that have happened in his life were because of taking chances.

Last week Converse released the collab track that Kid Cudi, Rostam of Vampire Weekend and Bethany of Best Coast had created for the “Three Artists One Song” campaign called “All Summer”. Today you can watch the new music video that all three  of them worked to create.

There’s been lots of video coverage of “Revolution” the past few days. One thing that’s been lacking is footage of “Mr. Rager”. In the clip above you can watch a full rendition of “Mr. Rager” (5 minute mark) from the in-store performance at BAPE on Thursday night as well as another performance of “Revolution”.

For the lucky few of you who made it into the BAPE store thursday night to catch the surprise performance by Cudi you were treated to an intimate performance where Cudi ran through some fan favorite songs, 2 new songs from his next album and even an acapella to the recently released “All Talk”. Last month Cudi & Steve Aoki performed the remix to Pursuit of Happiness at Cinespace in LA. The same one you’ve been hearing all over TV during March Madness. In an interview with Billboard last week, Aoki says that he and Cudi worked on a track for his forthcoming album;

I want to find a place that’s right for my forthcoming album, which I hope to have out in the fourth quarter this year, even though it’s not done yet. I just did a track with Rivers Cuomo from Weezer and I did a session with Kid Cudi, so it’s all coming together

Two nights ago Cudder kicked off his mini-college tour at Tulane University in New Orleans. In the video above you’ll see him perform accapella’s for Sky Might Fall and his collab with Snoop(tentatively titled I Do My Thing) and then Pursuit of Happiness to finish it off.

During the show Cudi announced that the upcoming album “Cudder & The Revolution of Evolution” is 80% done and is currently on pace for an August release.
