Album Title: Cudder and The Revolution of Evolution

During his show in Milwaukee Kid Cudi took some time to announce the new title for his upcoming album. You can listen to the audio above (first 20 seconds). Originally called “Cudder” he declares that it’s been changed to “Cudder and the Revolution of Evolution”. It’s the first time hes spoken about the name change so I’m not sure what the final variation for the album will be, one likely scenario is “Cudder: The Revolution of Evolution”. No date has been set for the albums release.

Complex.com Best Album of 2009 – Man on the Moon

The love for Cudi’s debut album “Man on the Moon: The End of Day” continues. Complex.com placed the album at #1 on their Top 25 albums of 2009. Check out the full list here.

Hip-hop’s lonely stoner threw the “debut rap album” blueprint out the window with his bold opening statement, a somber trip into the mind of Scott Mescudi. With producers Emile, Plain Pat, and Ratatat driving most of the music, Man On The Moon shows a remarkably fully-formed sound—dark, melodic, spacious—a feat that most unfocused artists strive for their entire career. Mixing the easy thump of hip-hop with the relentlessly introspective sensibility of indie rock, Cudi pushed the boundaries of both worlds, perfectly capturing 2009’s unapologetically creative spirit.

On a separate note, Amazon.com is having an MP3 sale again so grab it while you can for only $5.

(Video) Kid Cudi Says Next Album Will Be More Fun

Continuing with their Interview with Cudi, MTV talked to him about his next album “Cudder” which he says he already has Snoop Dog, Clipse and Pharrell line up for.

“People reaching out to me wanting to collab is so bugged out,” Kid admitted. “I remember when nobody wanted to do any song with me, let alone listen to my sh–. It’s been humbling since Kanye reached out. People seek my creativity; that’s dope. I don’t do the normal sh–. I don’t make the normal songs. So when people reach out, that means they’re on the same frequency.”
